Pfeffernuesse are glazed choco gingerbread rounds with a kick of pepper in the sugar glaze, a chocolate bottom and choco stripes. From Wicklein, one of Nuremberg’s preeminent gingerbread makers.
Ingredients:
Sugar, wheat flour, caramelized sugar syrup, potato starch, gum Arabic, butter (milk), potassium carbonate, spices, wheat gluten, ammonium bicarbonate, potato dextrin, egg white powder, sodium diphosphate, gelatin, sodium bicarbonate. May contain traces of tree nuts and soybeans.
