There are several harvests (a.k.a. flushes) of tea leaf each year.
“Ban-cha” is a traditional, daily-use, Japanese green tea variety that
is made from mature leaves, plucked in the summer or autumn, while
“Mat-cha” and “Sen-cha” are varieties made from young, tender leaves,
plucked in the spring.
Why use Green Tea? 
It is well know that tea in all of its forms, black, green, roasted and
white, has significant antioxidant action. Aging, stress and inhaling

substances, both produced naturally in the body. By including foods or

For maximum benefit, tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 10-15 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract. Drink 3 cups or more daily. For an extra strength brew, use two teabags or brew up a whole pot using four or five teabags.
