Rapunzel Safflower Oil 16.9 fl oz

Safflower oil is a light-tasting oil good in cold dishes and for garnishing salads.

Cold Pressed & Unrefined. Milled & bottled in Southern France.

The safflower thistle, Carthamus tinctonis, originated in India and
Japan. Today it is cultivated as an oil plant, predominantly in South
America and Australia. It is only pressed and filtered; no other
processing or refining is done.

Safflower oil contains (in % of total fatty acids):
• 75% Linoleic acid (Omega 6), a poly-unsaturated fatty acid
• 13% Oleic acid (Omega 9), a mono-unsaturated fatty acid

This oil is mechanically cold pressed at a maximum of 122F to avoid
damage to the oil. This creates less yield in the pressing, but
produces the best oil for you. Bottled in green glass for UV Protection.
