Led by flute and whistle virtuoso, Joanie Madden, Cherish the Ladies has
grown from a one-time concert to an Irish traditional music sensation,
performing hundreds of concerts a year for over ten years. Though
initially the group won recognition as the first and only all-women
traditional Irish band, they soon established themselves as musicians
and performers without peer, and have won many thousands of listeners
over as fans of their music. Cherish the Ladies are absolutely unique in
their spectacular blend of virtuosic instrumental talents, beautiful
female vocals, captivating arrangements, and stunning step-dancing; all
are captured at their best on this collection of their finest recorded
work to date.

With over sixty minutes of tunes and songs, One and
All culls tracks from their three Green Linnet recordings, highlighting
the talents of singers Cathie Ryan and Aoife Clancy, fiddlers Winifred
Horan and Siobhan Egan, a slew of box players, and the inimitable Joanie
Madden.
